The Easy Ways to Be Happy

There are always ways to be happy in this fake world with its pleasures and sadness inside. I would like to mention some of them, which I have read from a book “Don’t Be Sad” by DR. Aidh Abdullah al-Qarni, MA.

1.    Always remember ﷲ in every second of our breath. Keep on our mind that ﷲ always watching us wherever we are at anytime and everything. Thus, it’ll make us become more carefully at any of our behavior.

2.    Evaluate ourselves and be grateful to ﷲ. We can look behind and evaluate our mistakes and not to do the same in the future. Besides, we must be grateful for whatever ﷲ gives to us. We must believe that ﷲ has plans for us for our goodness even though we’re in bad and worse condition. When we’re in a bad condition, we must look over misfortune of other people. Thus, we’ll always be grateful and never be surrender. 

3.    Forget our pasts since they have gone forever. Don’t look behind too often for it’ll make us pessimistic, particularly over bad experiences. We must face our day with new spirit for doing goodness correctly and let our future comes by itself.

4.    We actually have only one day in our life. We never know whether we still live tomorrow or not. Past is our history, today is our life, and tomorrow is our mystery. Accordingly, we must do our best for doing goodness today in order to gain ﷲ bless and forgiveness. 

5.    Do anything for ﷲ sake only. Whenever we help people, study, work, and worship, we must do that for ﷲ sake. If we start doing something for ﷲ, we’ll do it our best and earn goodness someday.

6.    Do some businesses to erase boredom. Business in this case means whatever goodness we can do, kind of something useful and cause benefits for people.

7.    Always rememberﷲ  by Dzikir and praising ﷲ names (Asma Ul  Husna), then we’ll be in peace. ﷲ names are very beautiful and ﷲ loves people who always remember by praising His names. As the consequence, if we remember and love ﷲ, ﷲ will do the same, even more intensely.   

Ultimately, we will and are able to be happy and face our day better than previous days, Insya ﷲ. This discussion is subjected to be continued and thanks for reading.

Life Needs Struggle

s a human being, everybody in the world is definitely always facing problems endlessly. Problems come into no age, sex, and profession or whatever background people are. Every breathing creature in universe, having such problems and barriers, which leads to fear, pain, sadness, and anything that could make man going down. Just like the way babies learn to crawl, sit, talk, and walk, they cry, feel sad, pain, happy, and any feeling they can feel. 

Regardless the earlier thoughts, it is obviously clear that everyone wants to live happily. Most people think happiness means wealth, which is also considered as success. Accordingly, many people try to reach their goals “success” by doing whatever ways. Thus, it will make them away from God and his commandments. Indeed, along the way to reach happiness, people must deal with many factors: economy, politic, social, and culture within different kinds of barriers and storms. Therefore, our knowledge of religion is very essential and basic for human to live their life in God’s way. In addition, it will keep us away from desperate and over obsession.  

In Indonesia, particularly, most power people doing such blue-collar crime for their own business. They do realize that what they are doing is incorrect and forbidden by law and norms, but their obsession of being “success” has made them do evil. They likely ignore God the almighty is watching every creature in universe in every second and every move. Not only by power people doing crimes but also common people. Men in power’s motives are to enrich themselves and maintain their power, and for common people is only to survive in a hard and dirty competition world. Accordingly, we, as university students, must build our moral in the right track and apply our knowledge correctly.

In conclusion, human are created by means where only God knows the reason. He does not create the universe and its creatures in vain, all with purposes and meanings. He wants to know how hard human struggle in their lives and how deep our faith towards the almighty and the almighty creator is. Life is short, where human are in process to elevate to the immortal life. We can reach happiness in both the world and after world by doing all his commandments. Thus, as the next generation of the world, let us build our way of thinking, moral, and character of the real Khalifa whom God meant of human.
